Finnair Business Class

Finnair A350-900 aircraft are equipped with the airline’s newest and very highly regarded Business Class product. With the new A350s featuring Finnair’s AirLounge seat, you will immediately notice the immense amount of personal space and privacy. With the absence of overhead bins in the centre of the business class cabin, the overall ambience is airy and spacious.

The standard configuration of Finnair Business class cabin is 1-2-1, across their long-haul fleet of a350 and a330 aircraft, offering great options for couples and singles.

Unlike most airlines who common rate mainland European destinations, Finnair uses tiered pricing; the final price with Finnair will vary greatly depending on whether you are headed to the Nordic region or Western Europe or which airlines you use to fly into and out of Australia. A Business Class fare from the East Coast of Australia to Helsinki starts from $5,553, taxes included. Though depending on the destination and routing, this can increase, for example a return fare from Sydney to Paris via Singapore starts from $7,275. You can also include stopovers in Singapore, Bangkok, Phuket, and Kuala Lumpur, though generally there will be an increase in taxes the more flights and stopovers are added to the itinerary.

Premium Economy & mixed class fares

A point of difference with Finnair is their combinability of cabins to allow some excellent mixed-class fares. On specific routes, you can fly Economy Class to Asia, then Premium Economy from Asia to Europe. Then, at the end of the trip, when you have had enough of airports and check-in queues, you can fly back from Europe to Australia Business Class in a full flatbed, drinking Champagne. Mixed class fares like this start from $4,722, taxes included.

Finnair premium economy fares from Melbourne and Sydney to specific Nordic destinations start from $ 3,585, taxes included. With a better seat recline, leg rests that support the whole leg, memory foam cushions for added comfort and elevated menu options, why not treat yourself to an upgrade!
