Fares are available year-round, although lower booking classes can become scarce during peak periods. As every itinerary is manually constructed, pricing varies with dates, routing, stopovers and the airlines used.

Turkish Airlines offers exceptional stopover flexibility, allowing us to build stops into many journeys through North America and Asia on the way to Europe, as well as in Istanbul itself. This makes it possible to turn the journey into a genuine multi-stop or round-the-world itinerary rather than simply flying Australia to Europe and back.

Stopovers can affect the underlying airfare depending on the routing, partner airlines and length of stay. In particular, extending some stopovers beyond five days can push the itinerary into a higher fare level, so we carefully construct each trip to find the best balance between stopover time and overall price.

Even better, eligible Australian travellers can take advantage of Turkish Airlines’ complimentary Stopover in Istanbul program. Business Class passengers can receive up to two nights’ free accommodation in a 5-star or boutique hotel, while Economy Class passengers receive one night in a 4-star hotel. The Istanbul stopover must meet Turkish Airlines’ eligibility requirements, and we can advise whether your itinerary qualifies when we build your fare.

These are sample itineraries rather than fixed-price packages. Every fare is manually built around your dates, cabin, destinations and availability. North American stops can also be changed, with cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, Toronto and New York possible on selected routings.

Business Class does vary by aircraft. The Boeing 787-9 and Airbus A350-900 feature Turkish Airlines’ newer 1-2-1 seating with direct aisle access and fully flat beds, while other long-haul aircraft have different configurations. The A350 is one of our preferred options, offering excellent privacy, storage and personal space. Across the fleet, a major highlight is the onboard dining, with Turkish Airlines particularly well known for its Flying Chefs, Turkish cuisine and extensive meal service.

The flagship Turkish Airlines Business Lounge in Istanbul is another highlight. The enormous lounge features live cooking stations and regional Turkish dishes, private shower suites, sleeping areas, entertainment spaces and plenty of room to relax during a longer connection.
