3. Show your passport and app receipt to the CBP officer

Things to keep in mind

• When you arrive, follow the Customs signage to the dedicated MPC lane.
• You’ll need to complete the Customs declaration in the app each time you enter the U.S. – it only takes a moment.
• Travelling together? You can submit details for multiple people on one device and speak to the officer as a group.
• Don’t forget: MPC doesn’t replace your visa or ESTA. Make sure all required travel documents are sorted before you fly.
• Your passport is still essential – MPC is just a faster way to process your arrival.
• You can submit your trip details on the plane, at the airport, or just before a land crossing – whatever suits you best.
• If your flight is diverted to an airport that doesn’t offer MPC, you’ll simply go through the standard arrival process.
