New Delta Lounges Opening in 2024

Delta have some really big developments coming to their USA lounge network in 2024! Building on the momentum of 2023’s significant enhancements to the Delta Sky Club network, this year promises to elevate the travel journey even further with the introduction of Delta’s highly anticipated premium lounge experience at key airports like JFK, LAX, and BOS.

At JFK, travelers will be greeted with the grandeur of a 38,000-square-foot premium lounge, featuring not only a full-service brasserie but also a casual, chef-assisted market, complete with open kitchens and dedicated wellness areas. Delta’s commitment to personalised service shines through, as each premium lounge will be tailored to reflect the unique essence of its host city, ensuring an authentic and memorable experience for every guest.

While the access guidelines for these premium lounges are still being finalized, Claude Roussel, Vice President of Sky Club and Lounge Experience, underscores Delta’s dedication to providing a highly personalised and dedicated level of service. It’s not merely about offering beautiful spaces and exceptional amenities; it’s about creating a warm and welcoming environment where premium lounge customers feel recognised and valued, akin to their favorite hotel or restaurant.

But that’s not all Delta has in store for 2024! With the opening of five new lounges, including expansions in key markets like La Guardia New York and Seattle, Delta is adding over 2,700 seats to its lounge network, ensuring ample space and comfort for its discerning travelers. From the sleek design of LAX’s premium lounge, featuring an exclusive outdoor terrace, to the nautical-themed ambiance of Boston’s new lounge overlooking Boston Harbor, each space promises to deliver a premium travel experience like no other.

And let’s not forget about the culinary delights awaiting travelers in Delta’s Sky Club lounges. The Local Flavor program continues to showcase a rotating lineup of emerging hometown chefs, offering travelers a taste of regional cuisine crafted by culinary talents like Jeremy Sewall and Silvia Barban. With accolades pouring in, including recognition from the prestigious James Beard Foundation, Delta’s commitment to culinary excellence is unmistakable.

In addition to these exciting developments, 2023 saw the introduction of new Delta Sky Clubs across various airports, each offering its own unique ambiance and amenities. From the nature-inspired oasis in MSP to the nautical-themed retreat in BOS, Delta continues to redefine the airport lounge experience.

With awards like AFAR’s Best Lounge Network and Business Traveler USA’s Best Airline Lounge, Delta’s commitment to excellence in customer service and hospitality is evident. So, whether you’re a seasoned traveler or embarking on your first journey, get ready to indulge in the ultimate travel experience with Delta’s premium lounges and Sky Clubs.
